Logbook notes
No wind, no rush — and the first hints of what will become legendary Phat Buoy camaraderie.
Forced ashore more than afloat, the crew explored beautiful Adriatic islands, some by motor scooter (until Akash’s tumble earned him the nickname Akrash).
A memorable night in Split saw Chris deliver his immortal line, “A table for five, please,” and a later misadventure in a casino-bar that ended with an extortionate drinks bill and a quick exit.
The humour and friendship of this trip would soon evolve into something more — the start of an enduring brotherhood.
