Logbook notes

With first time skipper Wag tightly gripping the helm we island-hopped in the Aegean — a feast of sun, stone, and salt.

Our first true warm-water adventure, filled with classic Greek tavernas, ancient ruins, and orange bog roll. Breaking Phat tradition with almost every dinner ashore. Gigantes, arrogantes, tzatziki, taramasalata in gorged quantities.

Anchors dragged, tempers flared, and laughter always followed.

We headed out of Alimos following the Greek coastline down to the secret ancient ruins at Sounion, delivering our barber shop harmonies to the mystic masses. Then on south into the Cyclades, Kea, Kythnos, Paros, Syros and the uninhabited Delos.

The post-sail days in Athens were perfect, exploring everything we could, in search of the mythical Astrakianasis — one part history, one part hedonism — before the wind gods called us home.
