Logbook notes
With Wag withdrawing days before and Simon not available the long awaited moment arrived for a new Phat Buoy. Scriv’s first Phat Buoy voyage — ever keen and patient, instantly legendary.
Warboy nearly missed the start, discovering too late that his passport was missing, and only rejoining the crew mid-voyage after the Sardine Festival in Stintino.
Simon secretly joined for the final day, hiding in the head while Chris rounded up the others for the surprise reveal.
After docking, four of the crew (WC, BU, MS, ST) detoured to Rome for three unforgettable nights, history, culture and oodles of religion, including an impromptu blessing by a wandering monk.
