The beginning. Simple and challenging.
A modest coastal adventure, just a bit of challenging fun, with no ambition beyond a few days of sailing challenge and survival laughter.
Mark D worked with Mark W and the idea started there. Add in Chris, who’s wife knew Mark D too, plus Tim, a knowledgable pal. That was enough to spark a movement.
From this unassuming trip, a 25-year tradition was born.
Mark D had somehow got hold of Wishtream, one of only 37 Camper Nicholson’s ever made, tired but very capable sloop.
